Too personal to me!
It's been long time now that I had posted anything. Truly speaking, I was very lazy and didn't have anything in mind to write about. Initially, I had thought of writing stuffs which could prove to be beneficial to my readers but being inactive for months and hardly ever advertising my blogs, I'm sure there are hardly any readers of my posts except for me. This blog from now on shall be an account of my life experiences, my thoughts, my opinions, my successes and failures.. and I'll be updating them now and again. It shall stand as a testimony to the future me and to the times to come.

A Sustainable New World Civilisation?
Hello World! I'm finally here. Everything is going to be fine. You'll see.
This is my first blog post. Ever. This is also the first publicly available piece of writing I've ever created. The pressure is on. I've actually put off writing this post for nearly a week now. It's not that I didn't want to post, but I felt that a first post needed to have some sort of special significance or insight. There are many things I plan to write about, and hopefully they will live up to the name of this blog and prove insightful and helpful to people in many of my various areas of interest. However, for my first post I want to start with an all controversial post that necessarily dive right into the gory details of the topic I'm working on.
In thinking through this dilemma I've found myself returning to a few consistent ideas. So instead of writing about nothing, I've decided to share these ideas which in my point of view requires some serious considerations of the common educated citizen.
The World order.
Let's think for a while..Why is it that a billion people all over the world live in hunger while only a handful number of people own most of the earth's resources? Why is it that despite acknowledging the fact that we can obtain unlimited energy from renewable sources, we linger around conventional sources of fuels to play havoc with the motherland? Why is war, poverty, hunger, homelessness, pollution, corruption, etc. still so much prevalent? There is definitely much about today's economic and social setup that isn't scientific. There is a big loophole somewhere here which most of us fail to recognize. I'm of the view that a complete collapse is inevitable if things persist the way as they have been until now.
When I say "The World order", I point my finger to every institutions that have been playing dominant roles in shaping the society, culture and economy--Religion, Banking system, Law Making, Capitalism, Military, Communism, Fascism..and so on. In general, collective values are influenced by the existing social structure and sub-cultures within a society. For better or worse, social systems tend to perpetuate themselves with all their strengths and shortcomings.Whether we realize it or not, most people are constantly manipulated by the media and established institutions, which in turn influences much of our behaviors, expectations and values, our concepts of morality and notions of right or wrong.
The existence of money is hardly ever questioned. Money is just an interference between what one needs and what one is able to get. It is not money that people need, it is access to resources. The use of money results in social stratification and elitism based primarily on economic disparity. People are not equal without purchasing power. "The World order" is so designed that only rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer. It is not money that we need but the intelligent management of Earth's resources for benefit of everyone.
Any Possible solutions?
There could be many. And one of them could be SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY. What is needed is a change in our sense of direction and purpose--an alternative vision for a sustainable new World civilization unlike any in the past.
If you think our societies are being planned scientifically, look again!
If science has lot to do with what works, then clearly there is much about today's "World order" that isn't scientific, because things aren't working well for a majority of world's population or environment. If they were, wars, hunger, corruption, pollution, etc would not be so prevalent today. Unfortunately our social structures evolved with no global planning.
What about SCIENCE as the Universal language?
I ain't kidding. Obliviously you will agree the fact that the language of science is easily understood by many, even in different parts of the world. This language has a high degree of physical co-relation with the real world. There is little to no confusion. This language is one of the best creation of human beings indeed. For instance, if a blueprint of an automobile is given to any technologically developed society anywhere in the world, regardless of political or religious belief, the finished product will be the same.
This language was deliberately designed as a more appropriate way to state a problem.
In the earlier days when people had little scientific appreciation gave explanations that had more to do with the 5th dimensional elements. ( so called supernatural things). Today people have developed consensus for science. If things can't be comprehended people would go for testings, investigation and verification of results and not by just intuition.
Couldn't modern technology provide enough food, clothing, shelter and material goods for all if used intelligently? TECHNOLOGY IS RACING FORWARD BUT OUR SOCIETIES ARE STILL BASED ON CONCEPTS AND METHODS DEVISED CENTURIES AGO.We still have a society based on scarcity and the use of money. We still have thinking patterns based on old structures used in Western Asia several centuries ago. We are trying to adjust to the rapid advances in technology with obsolete values that no longer work in today's World.
A Resource based economy can be more justifying than the present Monetary based economy wherein people can have access to whatever they need without the use of money, credit, barter, or any other form of debt. People would be free to pursue whatever constructive endeavors they choose without economic pressures, restraints, and taxation that are inherent in the monetary system.
Scientists have predicted the collision course of the planet. People will have to adopt new measures which are sustainable in nature. The powerful existing social structures will be the very reason for the doom of our future generations. The real challenges we face now are overcoming scarcity, restructuring damaged environment, creating innovative technologies, building communications between nations, sharing technologies, and living a meaningful life.
